HSK 5 tests 3,600 words: the 2,000 from the levels below, plus the 1,600 here. Of the 1,600, 1,013 were in the HSK 2.0 lists: 2 at level 1, 4 at level 2, 1 at level 3, 16 at level 4, 863 at level 5 and 127 at level 6. For the rest of what changed, read our guide to HSK 3.0.
